Now hiring: we are hiring a dogger in Gboko, Benue State. You will work in a steel fabrication yard. Day to day you will coordinate tandem and multi-crane lifts with the signaller; inspect slings, shackles and eyebolts for wear, kinks and cracks before each use; set up spreader bars and lifting beams for long or awkward loads; read lift plans and method statements before starting; fit tag lines to control and steady suspended loads; tag and quarantine any damaged or out-of-date rigging gear. You should have: • Willing to work shifts, weekends and outdoors in all weather • Confident with standard crane hand signals • Comfortable working at height and in confined spaces At least 3 year(s) in a similar role.
