Foundry worker wanted in Kogi

Immediate opening: we are hiring a foundry worker in Kogi, Kogi State. The job is in the fettling and dressing shop. Day-to-day duties: • Apply mould coatings and dress the mould cavity • Fettle and grind castings to remove flash and rough edges • Assemble cope and drag mould halves and clamp them together • Check melt temperature with a pyrometer before pouring • Maintain crucibles, ladles and furnace linings • Melt scrap metal and ingots in induction or cupola furnaces What we are looking for: • Physically fit to lift heavy moulding boxes and castings • Knowledge of green-sand and resin-bonded moulding At least 5 year(s) in a similar role. Part-time with flexible hours. ₦175,000 per month, negotiable for the right hands. Contact us to fix an interview.
