Garment presser — Kurmi

Great opportunity: we are hiring a garment presser in Kurmi, Taraba State. You will be based at a dry cleaner's. Day-to-day duties: • Hang or fold pressed garments and pass them to packing • Sort bundles by fabric, shade and order number • Press open seams, darts and pleats during stitching • Clean and descale the iron soleplate and steam vents • Use a pressing cloth to protect delicate fabrics • Meet the daily piece target without damaging garments What we are looking for: • Comfortable standing long shifts in a hot, humid environment • Sound knowledge of fabric types and correct heat settings • Physically fit to lift bundles and handle repetitive work 5+ years on the tools preferred.
