Now hiring: we are hiring a halal butcher in Wayne County, Illinois. You will be based in a hotel or restaurant butchery. The role involves break down beef, mutton and chicken carcasses into primal cuts; dress the chilled counter and rotate stock by date; stuff and link fresh sausages with casings; debone shoulders, legs and loins with a boning knife; keep halal cuts separated and clearly handled. You should have: • Confident knife skills and safe blade handling • Clean, presentable and friendly at the counter We offer $5,300 per month plus benefits. Full-time, day shift.
