Now hiring: we are hiring a formwork carpenter in Ikole, Ekiti State. Requirements: • Own basic hand tools • NVQ Level 2/3 in Carpentry and Joinery or equivalent Your main tasks: • Glue, clamp, screw and dowel joints together • Hang internal and external doors, fitting hinges, locks and handles • Cut mortise-and-tenon and dovetail joints with chisels and a mallet • Assemble bespoke and flat-pack kitchen units and fit worktops • Finish surfaces with varnish, wax, lacquer or wood stain • Erect formwork and shuttering for concrete pours At least 3 year(s) in a similar role.
