Bricklayer — Gummi

Great opportunity: we are hiring a bricklayer in Gummi, Zamfara State. You will be based on a commercial construction site. Day to day you will forming arches, piers and reveals around openings; building the corners (leads) first and racking back the courses; bedding in air bricks, weep holes and wall starters; buttering the perpends and tapping each brick down to the gauge; cutting bricks to size with a bolster and club hammer or angle grinder; pointing and repointing weathered mortar joints. Requirements: • Own trowel, spirit level and basic hand tools • Reliable timekeeping and able to hit daily brick targets 4+ years on the tools preferred. Full-time with occasional weekends.
