Aluminium tig welder — Obi

Great opportunity: we are hiring an aluminium tig welder in Obi, Benue State. On the job you will handle: • Select the tungsten type and gas cup size to suit the job • Feed the filler rod by hand while controlling the weld puddle • Strike and hold a stable arc with a non-consumable tungsten electrode • Prep and fit up the joint, then lay tack welds before the full run • Grind and sharpen tungsten electrodes to the correct taper Ideal candidate: • Valid welder certification (ASME IX / ISO 9606 an advantage) • Own basic hand tools and PPE At least 1 year(s) in a similar role.
