Urgent requirement: we are hiring a meat cutter in LaGrange County, Indiana. What we are looking for: • 2+ years experience working as a butcher • Able to use a band saw, grinder and sausage filler • Comfortable working in cold rooms and chillers You will weigh, price and label cuts for the display case; portion steaks, chops and cutlets to the ordered weights; keep HACCP hygiene records and sanitise the block and tools; monitor chiller and freezer temperatures to keep the cold chain; run the band saw to cut cleanly through bone; sharpen and hone knives on a steel and whetstone.
