Fabricator-welder — Davis County

We are recruiting: we are hiring a fabricator-welder in Davis County, Utah. You will work at a busy fabrication workshop. On the job you will handle: • Select AC for aluminium and DC for stainless and mild steel • Keep the arc length and travel speed consistent • Clamp and fit up components on the jig before welding • Read welding symbols and joint details off the fabrication drawing • Tack weld parts to hold the fit-up before the final run • Set the argon flow on the flowmeter and check the hose for leaks You should have: • Comfortable working off scaffolds and in tight spaces • Sound knowledge of argon gas settings and tungsten selection • Good eyesight for fine sheet-metal work Full-time, day shift.
