PVC window fabricator — Baker County

Vacancy available: we are hiring a PVC window fabricator in Baker County, Florida. You will work on site fitting windows in new-build flats. Ideal candidate: • An eye for finish — no scratches, clean welds, flush beads • Able to work to deadlines in a busy workshop • 2+ years' experience fabricating uPVC windows and doors The role involves: • Take site measurements of openings before fabrication • Read the cutting list and optimisation sheet and label each profile • Check the frame for square by measuring the diagonals • Fit espagnolette locking gear, friction hinges, handles and keeps to the sash • Clean welded corners on a corner-cleaning machine and chisel off the weld flash • Install finished windows and doors, pack and anchor-fix them, then foam and silicone the perimeter At least 6 year(s) in a similar role. Pay around $30 per hour, based on your experience. Overtime paid at a premium rate. Full-time with occasional weekends. Walk-in interviews this week.
