Day to day you will fit fly screens, sills and trickle vents; crimp glazing beads to length and snap them into the frame; fit EPDM gaskets and brush-pile weather seals along the rails; insert galvanised steel reinforcement into the profile chambers and screw-fix it; check the frame for square by measuring the diagonals; fit espagnolette locking gear, friction hinges, handles and keeps to the sash. You should have: • Confident on the double-mitre saw, welder and corner-cleaning machine • An eye for finish — no scratches, clean welds, flush beads At least 3 year(s) in a similar role.
