We are recruiting: we are hiring a banksman in Ihitte/Uboma, Imo State. The job is on an offshore oil and gas platform. You should have: • Valid rigging / lifting certificate or banksman-slinger ticket • Sound knowledge of working load limits and sling angles You will secure loads with turnbuckles, chain blocks and lever hoists; establish exclusion zones and keep workers clear of the lift area; read lift plans and method statements before starting; direct the crane operator with standard hand signals and radio; set up spreader bars and lifting beams for long or awkward loads; take part in toolbox talks and pre-lift briefings. Freshers welcome — about 4 years of practice is enough. Performance bonus on top of base pay. Six days a week, one day off. Share your details and we will call you back.
