Vacancy available: we are hiring a groundskeeper in Jefferson County, Illinois. You will be based in a public park. You will water beds and lawns and set up drip irrigation lines; sharpen, clean and oil hand tools and mower blades; dig over and turn the soil and prepare seedbeds; spray pesticides and fungicides to control pests and disease. What we are looking for: • Understanding of pruning and watering schedules • Able to safely operate mowers, strimmers and hedge trimmers Full-time, day shift.
