Elevator repair technician — Chikun

Now hiring: we are hiring an elevator repair technician in Chikun, Kaduna State. The job is at a busy lift company. Day-to-day duties: • Wire up the controller, encoder and limit switches • Run load and overload tests with test weights • Measure rope tension and check for broken strands • Set and test the overspeed governor and safety gear • Replace worn sheaves, rollers, contactors and relays • Top up the oil and bleed the cylinder on hydraulic lifts Ideal candidate: • Comfortable working at height and in confined hoistways • Valid driving licence for site call-outs Part-time with flexible hours.
