Lifting rigger • Lapai, Niger State

Great opportunity: we are hiring a lifting rigger in Lapai, Niger State. You will select the correct slings, shackles and chains for each load's weight; establish exclusion zones and keep workers clear of the lift area; coordinate tandem and multi-crane lifts with the signaller; calculate load weight and centre of gravity before every lift; read lift plans and method statements before starting; take part in toolbox talks and pre-lift briefings. Requirements: • Physically fit to handle heavy chains, slings and shackles • Confident with standard crane hand signals • Able to inspect and reject defective lifting gear ₦850 per hour, negotiable for the right hands.
