Urgent requirement: lathe programmer-operator (Texas)

Now hiring: we are hiring a lathe programmer-operator in Refugio County, Texas. The job is at a busy machine shop. Ideal candidate: • Working knowledge of G-code and M-code • Confident with micrometers, vernier calipers and bore gauges • Minimum 2 years on CNC lathes with Fanuc or Siemens controls On the job you will handle: • Set up workpieces in three-jaw chucks and collets • Watch the machine through the cycle and clear alarms or crashes • Deburr and chamfer machined parts by hand • Change worn carbide inserts and monitor tool wear • Write and edit G-code programs at the control • Adjust feeds and speeds to control the surface finish Freshers welcome — about 1 years of practice is enough. Six days a week, one day off. Performance bonus on top of base pay. Walk-in interviews this week.
