You should have: • Experience with carbide tooling and insert selection • Minimum 2 years on CNC lathes with Fanuc or Siemens controls Day-to-day duties: • Set up workpieces in three-jaw chucks and collets • Run facing, turning, boring, grooving and threading cycles • Read engineering drawings and interpret GD&T tolerances • Adjust feeds and speeds to control the surface finish • Change worn carbide inserts and monitor tool wear • Top up coolant and clear swarf from the bed At least 4 year(s) in a similar role.
