Great opportunity: we are hiring a halal butcher in Bogoro, Bauchi State. What we are looking for: • Knowledge of halal slaughter and handling where required • 2+ years experience working as a butcher Day-to-day duties: • Monitor chiller and freezer temperatures to keep the cold chain • Run the band saw to cut cleanly through bone • Vacuum-pack and wrap customer orders • Portion steaks, chops and cutlets to the ordered weights • Take customer orders and advise on cuts and cooking • Debone shoulders, legs and loins with a boning knife At least 5 year(s) in a similar role.
