The role involves remove creases, wrinkles and packing folds with a steam iron; clean and descale the iron soleplate and steam vents; shape collars, cuffs and lapels using a tailor's ham and sleeve board; use a pressing cloth to protect delicate fabrics. You should have: • Comfortable standing long shifts in a hot, humid environment • Able to keep pace with line speed and piece targets Freshers welcome — about 2 years of practice is enough.
