Skimming plasterer wanted in Brooks County

Vacancy available: we are hiring a skimming plasterer in Brooks County, Texas. Day to day you will apply bonding and browning undercoats to brickwork and blockwork; dot-and-dab plasterboard to walls and ceilings; clean trowels, buckets and mixers before the plaster sets; set up trestles and scaffold boards for ceiling work; check walls for plumb and level as you go; tape and joint plasterboard seams with scrim and filler. What we are looking for: • Able to mix plaster to the right consistency by feel • Knowledge of different plasters, renders and bonding agents Freshers welcome — about 4 years of practice is enough. Full-time, day shift. On-the-job training and a clear path to grow. Walk-in interviews this week.
