Short order cook — Gummi

Join our team: we are hiring a short order cook in Gummi, Zamfara State. The job is in a catering banquet kitchen. Your main tasks: • Follow standardised recipes and stick to portion sizes • Cook dishes to order on the grill, fry and sauté stations • Check deliveries and rotate stock using FIFO • Plate and garnish dishes for a quick pass to service • Label and date all prepped ingredients in the walk-in • Taste and adjust seasoning for consistency Requirements: • 2+ years' experience as a cook in a busy kitchen • Able to lift heavy stock pots and sacks of supplies • Willing to work split shifts, weekends and public holidays 4+ years on the tools preferred.
