Great opportunity: we are hiring a sand plant operator in Oglethorpe County, Georgia. You should have: • Physically fit to lift heavy moulding boxes and castings • Willing to wear full PPE such as heat-resistant apron, spats and visor The role involves: • Carry out shakeout and knock the castings out of the sand • Mix and recondition moulding sand to the right moisture • Operate the sand muller and the reclamation plant • Pour molten metal into the moulds using hand or crane ladles Freshers welcome — about 2 years of practice is enough. Part-time with flexible hours. A stable, long-term role with a friendly crew. Pay around $3,200 per month, based on your experience. Walk-in interviews this week.
