Finish carpenter — Rush County

Now hiring: we are hiring a finish carpenter in Rush County, Indiana. The job is in a bespoke joinery workshop. Day to day you will fix studwork and plasterboard partitions; erect formwork and shuttering for concrete pours; read and work from architectural drawings and cutting lists; measure and mark out timber using a tape, square and marking gauge; plane and sand timber to a smooth, square finish. Ideal candidate: • Accurate to fine tolerances on finish work • Confident with hand and power tools such as saws, routers and planers • Able to read technical drawings and cutting lists Freshers welcome — about 6 years of practice is enough.
