Great opportunity: we are hiring a finishing presser in Barnsley, England. Requirements: • Aware of steam iron safety and basic machine upkeep • 1-2 years' experience pressing garments in a factory The role involves press open seams, darts and pleats during stitching; keep the boiler topped up and hold steady steam pressure; fuse interlinings and fusible tape on the fusing press; hang or fold pressed garments and pass them to packing; operate the steam press and vacuum table to finish garments; give each garment a final press before packing. Freshers welcome — about 3 years of practice is enough. Full-time, day shift. A stable, long-term role with a friendly crew. Pay around £2,750 per month, based on your experience.
