Vacancy available: we are hiring a GTAW welder in Egbedore, Osun State. You will work at a busy fabrication workshop. Requirements: • Good eyesight for fine sheet-metal work • ITI or trade certificate in welding an advantage • Steady hand and good hand-eye coordination Your main tasks: • Run butt, fillet, lap and corner joints to spec • Strike the arc with high-frequency start and control heat with the foot pedal • Select AC for aluminium and DC for stainless and mild steel • Inspect welds visually for porosity, cracks and undercut • Clean joints with acetone and a dedicated stainless wire brush • Set the argon flow on the flowmeter and check the hose for leaks Part-time with flexible hours.
