Plant operator (dozer) — Champaign County

Now hiring: we are hiring a plant operator (dozer) in Champaign County, Ohio. You should have: • Physically fit for climbing on and off the machine • Familiar with GPS and laser machine-control systems On a typical shift you will spread imported fill in even layers ready for compaction; strip topsoil and stockpile it for later reuse; grease pins and bushes and check undercarriage tension daily; backfill trenches and foundations once services are laid; form embankments and batter slopes to the required angle; carry out pre-start checks on tracks, hydraulics, coolant and engine oil. 5+ years on the tools preferred. Rotating shifts. Performance bonus on top of base pay. Pay around $26 per hour, based on your experience. Walk-in interviews this week.
