Garden maintenance worker • Todd County, Minnesota

We are recruiting: we are hiring a garden maintenance worker in Todd County, Minnesota. You will be based in a public park. On the job you will handle: • Lay turf and oversow bare patches of lawn • Check and adjust sprinkler timers and irrigation heads • Sharpen, clean and oil hand tools and mower blades • Maintain compost heaps and the potting shed • Prune hedges, shrubs and ornamental trees with secateurs and hedge trimmers • Repot nursery stock and pot on cuttings You should have: • Happy to work outdoors in all weather • Previous experience as a gardener or in grounds maintenance • Able to safely operate mowers, strimmers and hedge trimmers Full-time with occasional weekends.
