Furniture maker — Wayne County

Immediate opening: we are hiring a furniture maker in Wayne County, Michigan. Ideal candidate: • Confident with hand and power tools such as saws, routers and planers • At least 2 years' hands-on carpentry experience • NVQ Level 2/3 in Carpentry and Joinery or equivalent On the job you will handle: • Cut sheet material and timber with a circular saw, jigsaw and table saw • Plane and sand timber to a smooth, square finish • Check work for level, plumb and square with a spirit level • Hang internal and external doors, fitting hinges, locks and handles • Fix studwork and plasterboard partitions Rotating shifts.
