Hydraulic crane operator wanted in Wudil

Now hiring: we are hiring a hydraulic crane operator in Wudil, Kano State. You will be based at a shipbuilding yard. Day to day you will fit the counterweights and check the ground bearing pressure; keep a safe distance from overhead power lines; help set out the lift plan and barrier off the exclusion zone; hoist, slew and lower loads smoothly and under control; work out the load weight and the lifting radius. You should have: • Able to read load charts and lifting plans • Physically fit to climb ladders and work long shifts • Valid crane operator licence or certificate (CPCS, NPORS or local equivalent) Freshers welcome — about 1 years of practice is enough.
