Offshore rigger — Ibaji

Vacancy available: we are hiring an offshore rigger in Ibaji, Kogi State. The job is on a high-rise building site. Ideal candidate: • Able to inspect and reject defective lifting gear • Willing to work shifts, weekends and outdoors in all weather • Ability to read lift plans and rigging diagrams The role involves: • Read lift plans and method statements before starting • Establish exclusion zones and keep workers clear of the lift area • Attach wire rope and chain slings to loads using shackles and hooks • Guide loads through tight openings into their final position • Set up spreader bars and lifting beams for long or awkward loads • Calculate load weight and centre of gravity before every lift Full-time, day shift.
