Now hiring: horticulturist (Washington)

We are recruiting: we are hiring a horticulturist in Thurston County, Washington. Day-to-day duties: • Lay turf and oversow bare patches of lawn • Maintain compost heaps and the potting shed • Repot nursery stock and pot on cuttings • Rake up fallen leaves, grass clippings and garden waste • Sharpen, clean and oil hand tools and mower blades • Apply fertiliser, compost and mulch to beds What we are looking for: • Previous experience as a gardener or in grounds maintenance • Good knowledge of common plants, shrubs and seasonal planting Full-time with occasional weekends.
