Track-type tractor operator • Jefferson County, Nebraska

Urgent requirement: we are hiring a track-type tractor operator in Jefferson County, Nebraska. You will work at a civil contractor's yard. Your main tasks: • Cut and fill ground to the levels marked on the grade stakes • Backfill trenches and foundations once services are laid • Maintain haul roads and keep drainage falls clear • Rip hard ground and rock using the rear ripper shank • Clear land of trees, stumps and debris before earthworks begin • Work to the dig plan and the banksman's signals You should have: • Good understanding of cut-and-fill and batter slopes • Knowledge of daily greasing and pre-start inspections • Able to read grade stakes, drawings and site levels $3,200 per month, negotiable for the right hands. Overtime paid at a premium rate. Six days a week, one day off. Contact us to fix an interview.
