Now hiring: we are hiring a trainee butcher in Henry County, Virginia. You will work at a busy retail butcher's shop. You should have: • Clean, presentable and friendly at the counter • Comfortable working in cold rooms and chillers • Quick and accurate on the weighing scales and order maths Day-to-day duties: • Debone shoulders, legs and loins with a boning knife • Vacuum-pack and wrap customer orders • Portion steaks, chops and cutlets to the ordered weights • Stuff and link fresh sausages with casings • Season and marinate meat on request • Mince meat and prepare keema on the grinder Part-time with flexible hours.
