Now hiring: we are hiring an estate gardener in Storey County, Nevada. You will be based at a private estate garden. Your main tasks: • Rake up fallen leaves, grass clippings and garden waste • Dig over and turn the soil and prepare seedbeds • Sharpen, clean and oil hand tools and mower blades • Spray pesticides and fungicides to control pests and disease • Operate strimmers, leaf blowers and brush cutters • Mow and edge lawns with petrol and ride-on mowers You should have: • Previous experience as a gardener or in grounds maintenance • Good knowledge of common plants, shrubs and seasonal planting • An eye for detail and a tidy, well-kept finish Full-time with occasional weekends. $30 per hour, negotiable for the right hands.
