Join our team: rough terrain crane operator (Illinois)

Urgent requirement: we are hiring a rough terrain crane operator in Johnson County, Illinois. You will be based on a bridge and infrastructure project. On a typical shift you will fill in the daily logbook and raise defect reports; hoist, slew and lower loads smoothly and under control; work out the load weight and the lifting radius; set up the outriggers and level the crane on firm ground; park up the crane, stow the jib and isolate at end of shift; keep every lift within the safe working load (SWL). What we are looking for: • Physically fit to climb ladders and work long shifts • Good depth perception and hand-eye coordination • Proven experience on mobile, tower or overhead cranes Six days a week, one day off.
