We are recruiting: we are hiring a heavy equipment operator (dozer) in Madison County, Alabama. You will work on a quarry floor. Day to day you will clear land of trees, stumps and debris before earthworks begin; spread imported fill in even layers ready for compaction; cut and fill ground to the levels marked on the grade stakes; rip hard ground and rock using the rear ripper shank; form embankments and batter slopes to the required angle; grade and level subgrade for roads, pads and platforms. Ideal candidate: • Safety awareness around banksmen, trucks and other plant • Valid heavy equipment or plant operator licence Part-time with flexible hours. Overtime paid at a premium rate. $3,250 per project, negotiable for the right hands. Walk-in interviews this week.
