Immediate opening: cook (Texas)

Great opportunity: we are hiring a cook in Randall County, Texas. The job is at a busy restaurant kitchen. You will knead dough and bake breads such as roti, naan and paratha; chop, dice and portion vegetables, fish and meat; label and date all prepped ingredients in the walk-in; prepare the mise en place before each service; monitor food temperatures and run regular HACCP checks; cook dishes to order on the grill, fry and sauté stations. Requirements: • 2+ years' experience as a cook in a busy kitchen • Sound knowledge of HACCP and food safety standards 4+ years on the tools preferred. Full-time with occasional weekends. $4,300 per month, negotiable for the right hands. Walk-in interviews this week.
