Now hiring: we are hiring a baker in Cumbria, England. What we are looking for: • Understanding of food-safety and HACCP basics • Accurate at weighing and following recipes • Able to stand for long hours in a hot kitchen Your main tasks: • Boil sugar syrup for glazes and icing • Load and unload the deck oven with a peel • Rotate stock and follow FIFO on raw materials • Check finished products for colour, crumb and weight • Weigh and mix flour, yeast, water and salt to the day's recipe At least 2 year(s) in a similar role.
