Vacancy available: production line operator (England)

Join our team: we are hiring a production line operator in Surrey, England. You will be based at an injection moulding unit. On the job you will handle: • Run the first-off piece and check it against the drawing • Clear jams and remove rejected parts from the line • Top up coolant, lubricant and hydraulic oil levels • Measure parts with vernier calliper, micrometer and go/no-go gauges • Key in cycle parameters such as speed, feed rate and temperature • Record output, scrap and downtime on the production sheet You should have: • Able to read job cards and basic engineering drawings • ITI or diploma in fitter or machinist trade an advantage • Able to stand for long hours on the shop floor 4+ years on the tools preferred.
