Immediate opening: we are hiring an abattoir worker in Monroe County, Ohio. You will work in a supermarket meat department. The role involves keep halal cuts separated and clearly handled; portion steaks, chops and cutlets to the ordered weights; mince meat and prepare keema on the grinder; keep HACCP hygiene records and sanitise the block and tools; debone shoulders, legs and loins with a boning knife; break down beef, mutton and chicken carcasses into primal cuts. You should have: • Knowledge of halal slaughter and handling where required • Quick and accurate on the weighing scales and order maths Freshers welcome — about 3 years of practice is enough.
