Your main tasks: • Inspect tracks, bucket teeth and pins for wear before start-up • Work safely around buried services with a banksman or spotter • Load spoil into tippers and dumpers cleanly without spillage • Track the machine on and off low-loaders for transport • Keep the cab clean and oil-free and report defects promptly You should have: • Comfortable with GPS or laser machine control • Reliable, punctual and able to get to site Freshers welcome — about 3 years of practice is enough.
