Brick mason — Worcester County

Vacancy available: we are hiring a brick mason in Worcester County, Massachusetts. You will work at a residential building site. On the job you will handle: • Cutting bricks to size with a bolster and club hammer or angle grinder • Laying bricks to the line, level and plumb • Brushing the wall down and removing mortar snots as you go • Building cavity walls and bedding in wall ties and insulation • Forming arches, piers and reveals around openings You should have: • Able to read construction drawings and setting-out marks • Physically fit for lifting bricks and blocks all day • NVQ Level 2 in Bricklaying an advantage Full-time, day shift. Overtime paid at a premium rate. Pay around $2,800 per month, based on your experience. Contact us to fix an interview.
