Vacancy available: we are hiring a plastering hand in Doncaster, England. You will be based in an occupied house during renovation. Your main tasks: • Patch and repair cracked, blown or hollow plaster • Apply scratch coats and key the surface for the next coat • Tape and joint plasterboard seams with scrim and filler • Fix and set angle beads, stop beads and corner beads • Set up trestles and scaffold boards for ceiling work • Skim plasterboard to a smooth finish ready for decoration Ideal candidate: • Proven experience hand-skimming and floating to a flat finish • Able to read drawings and set out work to a deadline • Willing to work on both new build and refurbishment sites Rotating shifts. Overtime paid at a premium rate. Pay around £2,600 per month, based on your experience. Contact us to fix an interview.
