Now hiring: we are hiring a milling machine operator in Waller County, Texas. Day-to-day duties: • Read engineering drawings and GD&T to plan the machining sequence • Run first-off parts and check dimensions before batch production • Mount workpieces in machine vices, clamps and fixtures and check for square • Set up and operate vertical and horizontal milling machines • Carry out daily lubrication and routine machine maintenance • Keep in-process inspection records and log production counts What we are looking for: • ITI/NCVT certificate in machinist or turner trade • 2-3 years' hands-on milling experience • Knows feeds, speeds and tooling for steel, aluminium and cast iron $3,200 per month, negotiable for the right hands.
