Ideal candidate: • Sound knowledge of working load limits and sling angles • Comfortable working at height and in confined spaces The role involves: • Inspect slings, shackles and eyebolts for wear, kinks and cracks before each use • Read lift plans and method statements before starting • Attach wire rope and chain slings to loads using shackles and hooks • Set up spreader bars and lifting beams for long or awkward loads Rotating shifts.
