Immediate opening: tower crane operator (Iowa)

Vacancy available: we are hiring a tower crane operator in Johnson County, Iowa. The role involves: • Climb and inspect the tower crane mast and tie-ins • Carry out pre-start checks on the crane, wire ropes and hook block • Fill in the daily logbook and raise defect reports • Grease the slew ring and inspect the wire rope for broken strands • Keep every lift within the safe working load (SWL) • Hoist, slew and lower loads smoothly and under control Ideal candidate: • Valid crane operator licence or certificate (CPCS, NPORS or local equivalent) • Able to read load charts and lifting plans At least 6 year(s) in a similar role. Six days a week, one day off. A stable, long-term role with a friendly crew. We offer $4,000 per month plus benefits. Walk-in interviews this week.
