Immediate opening: mechanical press operator (Borno State)

Great opportunity: we are hiring a mechanical press operator in Damboa, Borno State. The job is at a busy press shop. Your main tasks: • Feed blanks into the die and remove formed parts • Punch, blank, pierce, bend and form sheet metal components • Watch for cracks, burrs, wrinkles and double-hits on parts • Check stamped parts against drawings using vernier calipers and gauges • Load metal sheets, blanks and coils onto the press bed Ideal candidate: • ITI in fitter, machinist or sheet metal trade preferred • Able to read engineering drawings and job cards • Knowledge of press safety, guarding and lockout-tagout Overtime paid at a premium rate. Part-time with flexible hours. Walk-in interviews this week.
