Vacancy available: we are hiring a metal caster in Borgu, Niger State. You will work at an aluminium die-casting plant. Day-to-day duties: • Apply mould coatings and dress the mould cavity • Fettle and grind castings to remove flash and rough edges • Pour molten metal into the moulds using hand or crane ladles • Tap the furnace and transfer the metal to the ladle • Operate the sand muller and the reclamation plant Requirements: • Basic grinding and fettling skills • Able to read simple casting drawings and job cards • Knowledge of green-sand and resin-bonded moulding At least 4 year(s) in a similar role.
