Now hiring: we are hiring a TIG welder in Comanche County, Oklahoma. You will tack weld parts to hold the fit-up before the final run; read welding symbols and joint details off the fabrication drawing; strike the arc with high-frequency start and control heat with the foot pedal; grind, blend and polish finished welds to a clean finish; clean joints with acetone and a dedicated stainless wire brush; keep the arc length and travel speed consistent. What we are looking for: • Comfortable working off scaffolds and in tight spaces • Can read fabrication drawings and welding symbols Freshers welcome — about 4 years of practice is enough.
