Vacancy available: we are hiring a head butcher in Guma, Benue State. You will be based at a wholesale meat market. On the job you will handle: • Sharpen and hone knives on a steel and whetstone • Season and marinate meat on request • Keep halal cuts separated and clearly handled • Keep HACCP hygiene records and sanitise the block and tools • Portion steaks, chops and cutlets to the ordered weights Requirements: • Physically fit to lift carcasses and stand all day • Confident knife skills and safe blade handling • Able to identify primal cuts of beef, mutton and poultry Part-time with flexible hours.
